Boubyan Petrochemical, is a Kuwaiti Shareholding Company that was established on 12 February 1995 and has been listed on Boursa Kuwait since 1997 as the first company in the private sector in Kuwait to be invested in the mostly government-controlled petrochemical sector.

Boubyan started its business by acquiring a 9% stake in Equate Petrochemical Company, a world class petrochemical joint venture between the government-owned Petrochemical Industries Company and The Dow Chemical Company.

Over the years, Boubyan continued to actively grow its portfolio of investments into diversified sectors including Industrial, Manufacturing, Health Care and Educational fields in order to further strengthen its financial position.
