    Boubyan International Industries Holding Company (BIIHC) was incorporated on July 19, 2004 as a privately-held joint-stock Kuwaiti company with paid-up capital of KD 30 million. The company is focused on Shari’a-compliant investment opportunities primarily in industrial and allied sectors in the GCC states, North America, Europe, North Africa and Japan. It has also entered into strategic alliances to set up projects in the infrastructure and real estate sectors in the GCC region.

    The primary objective of BIIHC is to maximize shareholders’ value through returns from strategic investments in a geographically diversified portfolio at the least risk possible. BIIHC’s performance since its inception has been impressive. The company is expected to be listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange in the near future.

    BPC owns 20% of BIIHC. Other major shareholders are National Investment Company (46%) and National Industrial Group Holding (10%).
